home is where your heart is-

home is where you'll put your heart, where you'll invest your heart.

jesus left His home to put His heart here, to invest His heart here,
to give His heart to us.

it's different than standing at a window looking in,
it's different than standing in the doorway,
it's different than sitting in the living room and staying for an hour,
it's different than crashing on the floor and spending a night,
it's living there, being there, making it home,
giving it your heart.

haha awh :) someone said it to you because it's probably trueee <3 but i'm struggling hard to try to keep living by it heh. also your comments make me so happy!! hahahah i am not your daughter but yes we are His daughters. we need to catch up.

and our homes are in Christ.. since we gave our hearts to Him. i think it really does feel like home though. running to God. like in the middle of worship when you close your eyes and cry out just to God and you forget completely where you are you could be at princeton or in boston or in shanghai at hengshan or aurora or anywhere you've worshipped before, it doesn't matter because you're so caught up in the familiar but holy glory of praise <3 it's cuz we're not looking for a home here on earth, but to a heavenly country in the future, and that's why it feels familiar when we draw close to God because we'll be SO CLOSE to Him there and that'll be our ultimate true and everlasting home..
